Steph sees an ad in the local paper for Ann Summers party demonstrators. She persuades Pauline, for whom she works as a cleaner, to host a party. Pauline is delighted, for her sunny disposition hides a secret sadness. She and her husband, local butcher Brian, love each other but their relationship has suffered while he has concentrated on building his business. Nita is also keen to earn extra cash, as she has struggled to run a household with her errant husband. Lives are about to change.
