Godzilla is one of the most popular movie monsters of all time, which means every once in a while, a new Godzilla movie comes out! With the craze of cinematic universes popularized by Marvel- Warner Bros set out to launch the Monsterverse in 2014 with Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards. Godzilla definitely raises some questions though. Like why is Bryan Cranston killed off so early and unceremoniously? Why are we now following his much less interesting army son, who just kind of follows the action? Why is Godzilla kind of teaming up with humans? Why is he in charge of balancing nature?
