A man who once misled Ena (Nagasawa Masami) with his mysterious atmosphere and dangerous eyes in a shopping street she wandered into. That man is Akira Honjo, the eldest son of a powerful supporter of Deputy Prime Minister Daimon (Kazuhiro Yamaji). There is something about that man. Ena has a hunch, and asks Takuro (Maeda Go Atsushi) to investigate. Takuro comes up with a "theory" about the perpetrator of a series of bizarre murders, and interviews people in Yahi City again, which leads him to Takaoka Hikaru, who was close to the last victim, Nakamura Yuka. A photograph left on Hikaru's mobile phone further motivates Takuro. Ena's reaction to Takuro, who has been pushing forward to get to the bottom of the case and excitedly reporting back to her, is strangely muted.
