Even with the results of the DNA test, the fact that Akira Honjo is the real murderer is not allowed to be made public, and Takuro (Go Atsushi Maeda), who has nowhere else to turn, is fired from his job on suspicion of threatening detective Hirakawa. Ena (Nagasawa Masami), who feels a huge power behind this incident, loses her physical and mental balance again. Meanwhile, Murai (Okabe Takashi) attempts to contact Daimon Toru, the daughter-in-law and secretary to Deputy Prime Minister Daimon (Yamaji Kazuhiro), and gets Takuro to identify himself as a journalist and meet with Toru. Toru is serious and has a strong sense of justice, and says that he tried to prosecute Daimon in the past, but eventually succumbed to power and discovery. He then launches a strategy to eliminate Daimon, the biggest obstacle to Honjo's arrest.
