While reading the morning newspaper, Eric comes across the picture of him on the ledge. Eric goes to Ridge for help with keeping Stephanie from seeing the picture. Ridge, in jest, suggests that the only way to keep Stephanie from seeing the picture would be to fly her off to Tahiti; which Eric thinks is a great idea. While on the jet heading to Tahiti with Stephanie, Eric receives a call from a frantic Donna, who had just seen the newspaper. Distracted by his phone call, Eric doesn’t notice that the flight attendant gives Stephanie the newspaper. A furious Stephanie confronts Eric and scolds him for deceiving her.
