Brooke tells Nick that he needs to find a way to stop Taylor from taking Baby Jack because Taylor is too unstable to care for a child. Brooke later tells Nick that a part of her wants to be his wife and Jack’s mother, but this is her last chance to marry Ridge. Ridge tells Taylor that she did the right thing by leaving Nick. Ridge confesses that he is worried that Brooke will want to spend more time with Nick and Jack now that Taylor is gone. Taylor tells Ridge that he would be crazy if he married Brooke because Brooke and Nick will always be in each other’s hearts. Ridge warns Taylor not to trust Rick, especially after what happened between Rick and Phoebe last year. Later, Rick visits Taylor and tries to dissuade her from taking Jack from Nick.
