Abigail discovers that the home pregnancy test she left in the wastebasket is missing. Convinced Ben must have found it, she nearly blurts the truth, but Hope's phone call interrupts her. When the women get together, Hope reveals she found the test the night before and sensed from Ben's behavior that he didn't know anything about it. Abigail, full of conflict, reveals she's pregnant but needs time to sort it all out before talking to Ben. What she doesn't tell Hope is her suspicion that Chad could be the father. Against this, Ben tells Clyde he is sure Abigail is committed to choosing him over Chad, despite the mistake she made. Later, Clyde shows up at the apartment and finds Abigail with Hope. He's very curious as to why Abigail is upset. Stefano summons Chad, wanting to know if his son is in love with Abigail. Chad confirms that he is - and learns Stefano has an underlying motive to wanting to see them together.
