As George juggles calls from Doug and Claire, he gets pulled over by a bike cop for a series of infractions. His plates are expired, his license is expired and he's clearly a distracted driver. But it's the digs about his nonchalant driving that really stick in his craw as he heads out for dinner with Claire. Bragging about his skills, he nearly wipes out a pedestrian. The incident leads to a shouting match with the man, Gerry, a producer who brags that he's landed Jack Nicholson for a role in his new movie. Irked about Gerry's success and having to wait for a table at a chi-chi new restaurant, George lies to the hostess to grab an empty table for four.
