Ben walks into Maria's room and introduces himself to a patient in a catatonic state whom Tim had conveniently put in there. When she doesn't respond, he leaves. Meanwhile, Maria worked on her picture of Ben in another room of the hospital. Ben tells Meg that her friend is sleeping, and they leave. Tim is in the process of moving the catatonic patient out of Maria's room when Maria returns and asks what he was doing.
