When Robert Mullins gets deadly Neverfever and wanders into the woods during a fierce lightning storm, Billy Jukes is the only pirate who goes after him. Slightly manages to capture Billy and attempts to capture Mullins in order to prove that he should be second-in-command of the Lost Boys. Things change once Slightly learns that Mullins is dying – he knows the antidote to Neverfever and offers to help Billy get it. While doing so, the two bond as Slightly describes his family and Billy explains his history as a pirate on the Jolly Roger.
