Geena recognises Sam's tattoo and realises that he is a stripper performing under the name of "The Masked Python" that she has seen perform. She invites him to do a gig at the Rovers and, as he needs the money, he agrees. Mark gives Linda a watch as her birthday present, saying he knows he can never compete with Mike. He tells her that he loves her and demands to know how she feels about him. Tyrone borrows Mark's car to impress Maria by taking her into the country.
