Deirdre refuses to talk about the affair on Christmas Day, she tries to make the day as pleasant as possible for Tracy, but Tracy tells parents that she will go out so that they can talk. Ken tells Deirdre he was forced into Wendy's arms because she was so busy a the Council. He then throws the affair she had with Mike back in her face, but she refuses to be blamed.
