Rita has to work longer hours at The Kabin whilst Mavis is running around after Auntie Edie. Hilda orders new clothes whilst waiting for her share of the tandem money. Mavis leaves Ethel Platt looking after Edie whilst she goes out with Derek. He tells Mavis that Edie is taking advantage of her. The Yard gets an unexpected big cheque from a bankrupt firm so Ray and Len plan a big night out. Hilda refuses to believe the demolition story - she feels that Stan and Eddie are keeping the money from her and demands her share.
