Liz wakes up in Fraser's bed. Vera moans about Joyce not turning into work and Kevin moans about Tony also not being at the garage. Samantha goes to Firman's to do the Rovers' shopping, unaware that she is being watched by Anne. Liz visits Steve and tells him about Fraser buying The Hour Glass. He tells her that Fraser is married. Gary and Judy return from a night out. Curly tells them that they want to speak with Judy in connection with a woman who was knocked down the previous night. Judy fears the worst and rushes to the police station. Anne plants a package in Sam's bag and tells Eric she saw her stealing it. Assistant Sheila Dixon defends Sam and Eric calls Curly into the store and dismisses Anne in front of him. A stunned Tony explains to Sally and Kevin - he killed Joyce.
