Will continues to follow the letter of the law, but Sam finds a way to alter the course of justice. Due to Sam thinking Will's police dog, Saxon, killed 2 sheep on Emmerdale Farm land 3 nights ago, Will wants to prove or disprove it. He takes Saxon to a sheep field, and Saxon does not attack any of the sheep. It turns out there is a second dog in the area, which Saxon chases, and Joe shoots the dog, thus vindicating Saxon.
