Bev and Angie ready themselves for their big night out, much to Ollie's disgust. While out drinking at a bar, Angie lets on that she's seeing someone, but doesn't disclose exactly who. Bev leads Angie further into temptation, telling her to go for it, before it's too late; she deserves a bit of happiness. Meanwhile, the impending change in management at the post office leaves Emily fearful for her job, particularly regarding Carol’s ambitious plans, and she confides in Kathy, who is concerned as Andy spirals out of control. She receives a call from Bev telling her that he didn't turn up for school. She confronts Andy about it and notices what looks like an expensive watch he is wearing.
