Alice is upset that Sam appears to be uninterested in having their baby and decides to head back to Norfolk alone. A few harsh words from Cain finally encourage Sam to see sense and he runs after her. Later the couple return all smiles, announcing that they plan to marry and live in Emmerdale. Over at the farm, Robert is annoyed to see that Katie has written to Andy and storms out in a rage. He later apologises to Andy but it is clear that he has something up his sleeve. Elsewhere, Zoe is surprised and delighted when her solicitor calls to tell her that there is a witness to Scott threatening her.
