Following the assault, Perdy suggests Grayson call the police. Worried she’ll find out the truth, he lies and says that he and Paul already had the night before. When Rosemary hears Grayson's story she is sceptical and lets him know that she's well aware of the probable truth and warns him that Perdy will work it out too.
