To escape the enemies targeting Fukiya, the death row prisoner they're guarding, the Boy Detectives' Club takes refuge in the abandoned building that Kobayashi had once been using as his base. They manage to hold their ground as they wait for a helicopter sent by Noro. In the meantime, Kobayashi has no choice but to play along with Fukiya's word association game, which causes his mental state to grow increasingly unstable.
